Summary:

The Most Beautiful Place in the World is a children’s short story written by Ann Cameron. The plot takes place in Guatemala and follows a young boy named Juan. He lives with his parents, and then with his mother, and finally with his grandmother. Both heart-wrenching and heartwarming, his story tells of both divorce and abandonment, adapting and belonging.

Morals: Community and perseverance; hard work and education.

Recommendation:

If you want a bittersweet-short story, then this is the paperback book for you. If you just want a good book, but don’t want the extra pages, then don’t be afraid to add this softback storyline to your library.
